Job Title: Early Years Educator (Term Time)

Location: Brick by Brick Preschool Limited. Beckenham, BR3 3RD

Hours:

Monday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Tuesday 8:30am – 4:30pm

Thursday 8:30am – 1:00pm

Friday 8:30am – 1:30pm

Salary: Starting at £13.00 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our friendly team. You will play an important role in providing high‑quality care and education for children aged 2–5 years, supporting their learning and development through play and meaningful experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
• Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities based on children’s interests and developmental needs.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, independence, and confidence.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and the pre‑school’s policies at all times.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant).
• Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
• Experience working in a preschool or nursery setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
