Machine Operator (360 Excavator & Loading Shovel) – Night Shift

Location: Leith Contract: Long-Term Temporary Shift: 5pm– 5am(Flexible working days)

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established and supportive team on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment and enjoys working as part of a strong, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a 360 Excavator and Loading Shovel safely and efficiently
• Moving materials across site
• Feeding materials into shredding machinery
• Loading and unloading vehicles and trucks
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
• Supporting general site operations as required

Requirements

• Valid 360 Excavator Ticket (essential)
• Valid Loading Shovel Ticket (essential)
• Proven experience in a similar role within a yard or industrial environment
• Strong awareness of site safety procedures
• Reliable, flexible, and a team-oriented attitude
