About the role
Pertemps West Bromwich is recruiting a MIG Welder for a well‑established client based in Smethwick. This full‑time permanent role offers £14.50 per hour and provides Monday to Thursday, 06:30am to 04:15pm hours, with Fridays off and overtime available.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on mild steel components, including end plates and pin stools.
- Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
- Work with mild steel thicknesses ranging from 5mm to 25mm.
- Ensure all welding meets quality and industry standards.
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday, 06:30am – 04:15pm (Fridays off) – 37.5 hours per week. Overtime available.
Pay and Progression
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour. A permanent position is offered after a successful trial period.
