Senior Sheet Metal Fabricator

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Sheet Metal Worker who knows their way around a workshop and can lead a team. You’ll need to be able to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run EuroMac punching machines, pierceall machines, Guillotine and Bending Machines to produce high-quality boxes, panels, and fabrications.
• Use welding knowledge where preferable.
• Calculate bending allowances and perform the requisite maths to correctly set up the machines.
• Verify work against drawing dimensions and inspection standards, ensuring parts are within tolerances.
• Lead and guide other workers to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Plenty of hands-on experience with sheet metal work.
• Ability to read drawings and work to tight specifications.
• Confidence using punching, piercing, and bending machines.
• Strong maths skills.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Leadership attributes to lead a team.
• Minimum 3 years of sheet metal work experience.
