Panel Wirer
Join our team as a Panel Wirer based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom. The role involves the assembly and manufacturing of components for electrical switchgear systems, including accurate wiring of control panels and switchgear according to detailed electrical diagrams and specifications.
Salary: £33,421 to £36,500 per annum.
Hours: Full Time, 39 hours a week / 4 day week / Monday – Thursday / Permanent.

Responsibilities
- Accurately wire control panels and switchgear according to detailed electrical diagrams and specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Ensure all wiring work complies with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
- Test and inspect completed panels to verify correct wiring and functionality.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve any wiring‑related issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to support quality and efficiency.
- Report any faults or defects promptly and suggest improvements where applicable.
- Keep accurate records of wiring tasks and test results.
- Uphold company standards and deliver products of unmatched excellence.
- Collaborate closely with the team to meet and exceed production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere rigorously to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Assembler, or in a similar role within manufacturing or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring techniques and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to electrical wiring and panel assembly.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Relevant electrical qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.
