£14/hr – £16.50/hr + Overtime, Early Friday finish, workshop‑based, days‑based.
A stable, days‑based role with overtime and an early Friday finish.
About the Company
Established in the 2010s as part of a larger engineering group, this company designs and manufactures bespoke fabricated products for a range of sectors, including agriculture and motorsports. Due to increasing demand they are looking to strengthen their workshop team.
Responsibilities
- Set, operate and program press brakes to produce sheet metal components to specification from engineering drawings.
- Fold, cut and mould sheet metal to technical specification.
- Work with materials including mild steel, aluminium and stainless‑steel ranging from 0.9mm to 10mm thickness.
- Perform workshop work and support team to meet production targets.
Schedule & Compensation
Monday – Thursday 8am‑4:30pm, Friday 8am‑4pm.
Overtime available paid at an enhanced rate.
Requirements
- Experience as a Press‑Brake Setter or similar role.
- Offline programming experience.
- Ability to commute to Chesterfield.
