The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Manufacturing Engineering Lead to join their Manufacturing Engineering team.
You will lead a small team of Electronics Manufacturing and Test Engineers/Technicians and manage projects supporting the introduction of new products, processes, and automated test systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small team of Electronics Manufacturing & Test Engineers/Technicians
- Deliver new products, processes, and automated test equipment into manufacturing
- Design, develop, validate, and document automated test and verification systems
- Support manufacturing through structured fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and robust corrective actions
- Collaborate closely with Product Development, Quality, Operations, and external suppliers
Essential Skills & Experience
- Advanced electronic and electrical design expertise
- Experience designing circuits and PCB layouts for test and programming equipment using modern CAD tools
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic capability on high‑sensitivity electronic assemblies
- Experience within a technical manufacturing or electronics engineering environment
