Job Title: Wirer

Location: Bassingbourn

Pay Rate: £16.25 – £17.33 per hour (DOE) or £21.68 – £23.12 per hour Umbrella

Contract Role

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Wirer to join a busy and growing team in Bassingbourn on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Wiring of electrical components and systems to technical drawings
• Building and assembling wiring looms, panels, and sub-assemblies
• Interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics
• Supporting mechanical assembly when needed
• Carrying out basic testing and fault finding
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Wirer
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
• Experience in panel wiring, loom building, or similar
• Ideally some mechanical assembly/build experience
• Strong attention to detail and quality
