Machine Setter (Nightshift)

Role Overview

This position is a night shift CNC Operator based at the Edinburgh site, operating Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to 07:00 for a total of 46 hours per week.

The operator will set and run CNC machines to produce high-quality parts from various materials, meeting precise tolerances consistently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up a variety of CNC machines to manufacture high-precision parts.




• Run production in a high-volume environment, ensuring repeatable and efficient machining solutions.




• Interpret complex drawings and create machining solutions that meet quality standards.




• Assist and mentor less experienced team members.

Qualifications

• Experience manufacturing high-precision parts across multiple materials.




• Familiarity with CNC machining in a high-volume production environment.




• Strong ability to interpret complex drawings and generate efficient CNC machining strategies.




• Experience developing or training less experienced team members.
