HEAVY PLANT MECHANIC – GARAGE

We are recruiting Heavy Plant Mechanics to join our Garage Team. This role offers experienced and motivated individuals the chance to work in a busy environment, maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy mobile plant and quarry equipment essential to our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile plant and quarry equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Undertake planned preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns and support operational teams to ensure continuity of production.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A recognised qualification in Heavy Plant Maintenance, Agricultural Mechanics, HGV Mechanics or a related discipline.
• Previous experience working on heavy plant, quarrying, construction or industrial equipment.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
• A proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
