Pertemps Wolverhampton is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for an experienced MIG Welder to join their growing team in the Wolverhampton area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for stable, full-time hours with a reputable company that values quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out high-quality MIG welding to production and engineering standards
• Setting up welding equipment and preparing materials for fabrication
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Measuring, marking out, and laying out components accurately
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Requirements

• Previous MIG welding experience is essential
• Ability to set up, measure, mark out, and lay out work independently
• Experience reading and working from technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team

Desirable Skills

• Experience within fencing fabrication
• Structural steel welding experience
• Fabrication experience

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am – 4:00pm
• £14.00 per hour
• Overtime may be available depending on business requirements
