HV Electrical Mechanical Fitter | Thurso

OEG are looking for 2 x High Voltage Mechanical Fitter that is available to support at one of our client sites in Thurso.

Start date: 27th July – 31st July

Duration: 5 days

Location: Thurso

Roles and Responsibilities:

• support clients yearly HV outage campaign
• carry out maintenance tasks under supervision of a commissioning engineer eg, oil samples, battery testing, HV contact resistance checks
• complete maintenance reports

Certification/Training/Competency Requirements:

• Experience on HV equipment maintenance
• Background of industry experience- National Grid and DNO portfolio of works
• Standard tickets eg:
• MEWP licence IPAF Cat 3b
• National Grid Competent Persons- Not required but desired
• IVDE- National Grid drain earth experience- Not required but desired
• CSCS- Construction site HSE- Not required but desired
