Plumber – Belfast – 1114

Job Overview

We are currently working in connection with a major public sector client, an established strategic housing authority, to recruit a Plumber for the Belfast area. Full‑time, temporary ongoing position of 37 hours per week, hourly rate £10.27. Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Undertake first and second‑fix plumbing work associated with major and minor construction work and refurbishment.
• Repair, renew and maintain bathroom suites, including all associated pipework.
• Undertake all plumbing work required for maintenance and refurbishment of Housing Executive stock/buildings, including fitting cylinders, tanks, radiators, sink‑tops, immersion heaters, shower trays and units.

Qualifications

• Completed either a time‑served or skills apprenticeship.
• At least 3 years of post‑apprenticeship experience.
• Response maintenance experience.
• A full current driving licence or access to appropriate transport.

A Basic Access National Insurance check, at a cost of £18, will be required before commencement. Please note that a criminal record will not necessarily be prohibitive in obtaining a position.
