Plumber/Assistant Plumber – Middlesex

Morgan Hunt currently requires a Plumber/Assistant Plumber for NHS based in Middlesex.

Pay Rate: £18ph to 20ph Ltd.

Hours: 37.5 hrs 8am to 16:30pm Mon to Thurs and 8am to 16:00pm Fri.

Location: Middlesex.

Duration: 3 months ongoing contract.

Suitable candidates must have a full clean driving licence; vehicle will be provided.

Job Description Requirements

• Carry out work activities which are both routine and non-routine.
• Carry out new works, repairs and routine planned maintenance activities to mechanical and heating, hot and cold water plant, equipment and services.
• Carry out reactive work requests, minor new installation requests and weekly planned preventative maintenance dockets efficiently.
• Escort contractors carrying out inspections, installations.
• Strictly adhere to the relevant policies and procedures, maintain tool lists and comply with Health and Safety and Security Regulations.

Qualification

• Minimum City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in plumbing, refrigeration or mechanical services.
• Specialised in a mechanical service (i.e. Gas, refrigeration, heat pumps).
• Water safety Training.

Experience

• Experience with all types of mechanical, ventilation or gas installations and maintenance.
• Self‑motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Would accept newly qualified Plumbers with some commercial building experience.
