Mobile Maintenance Electrician in Billericay

Mobile Maintenance Electrician – Essex – £41,325.03 (salary including on‑call standby 1:4 + £1,500 competency payment). Permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver reactive and planned maintenance for catering and bakery equipment.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance at customer sites.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager with recommendations for replacement.

Qualifications & Experience

• NvQ Level 3 / City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition.
• AM2 / 2391.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: £41,325.03 (including standby 1:4 + £1,500 competency payment).
• Overtime and travel time.
• £1,500 competency payment added to basic salary upon completion of electrical fault training for catering and bakery equipment.
• Two one‑week training blocks during the probation period.
• 40‑hour week.
• Travel time paid after half hour each way.
• OT paid at 1.5x Monday‑Friday / 2x Saturday‑Sunday.
