Job Description:

Graduate Assembler Engineering Scheme – Stockport, UK

Responsibilities

  • Assemble precision mechanical and electronic components to tight tolerances.
  • Work from drawings, schematics, and work instructions to build and test assemblies.
  • Support modification, rework, and testing of sub‑assemblies.
  • Identify and report issues, including raising non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and quality‐focused workspace.
  • Contribute to team tasks and continuous improvement activity.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Self‑motivated with a team‑first mindset.
  • Organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured production environment.
  • Basic MS Office skills.
