Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics and fault finding on commercial vehicles
• Complete servicing, maintenance, and repair work across the fleet
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Work on air brake systems including ABS and EBS
• Conduct engine and driveline repairs and overhauls
• Install and repair electrical wiring and vehicle systems
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections
• Perform preventative maintenance activities
• Support wider engineering operations when required
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and company standards

Qualifications

• Time-served HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Mechanical Fitter
• City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent engineering qualification
• Experience servicing and repairing commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding capabilities
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and air brake systems
• Ability to work independently and within a shift team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
