The Role
As a TIG Welder & Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding high-quality stainless steel and mild steel components, ensuring all work meets exacting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG welding stainless steel and mild steel components.
- Producing high quality welds on materials at 1.5mm thickness – essential.
- Fabricating sheet metal components from engineering drawings.
- Metal polishing and finishing to a high cosmetic standard.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet customer expectations.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.
Skills / Experience required
- Proven TIG welding experience
- Experience welding thin-gauge materials at 1.5mm thickness – essential
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong commitment to quality and safety
- Experience polishing and finishing stainless steel products
- Experience working within a precision manufacturing environment
