Welder Fabricator

Role Overview

A Welder Fabricator is required in Dudley for a full‑time, temporary position paying £14 to £15 per hour, dependent on experience. Working Monday to Friday from 6am to 2.30pm, you will join a manufacturer focused on aluminium and alloy fabrication. We are recruiting an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a well‑established manufacturer specialising in high‑quality aluminium and alloy fabrication solutions.

Role Details

• Location: Dudley
• Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm
• Pay Rate: £14ph to £15ph (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding to a high standard on aluminium, stainless steel, and other materials.
• Fabrication and assembly of metal components from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, and fitting materials to precise tolerances.
• Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Carrying out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
• Working on bespoke and batch production projects across a variety of industries.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to efficient production processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Welder Fabricator role within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills, ideally with experience working on aluminium and alloy products.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and technical plans.
• Experience using fabrication machinery and a range of workshop tools.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high‑quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to meet production deadlines.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety.
