Job Overview

Our client, a long-established global manufacturer, is seeking a Welder (Day Shift) to join their team on a temporary‑to‑permanent, full‑time basis. The role is based in Appleton, Warrington.

Working Hours and Salary

Monday to Thursday 07:00–16:00 and Friday 07:00–12:00. Salary: £16.44 per hour. Contract: Temporary to permanent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural welding to specifications.
• Fabricate hoist accessories such as gates and enclosures.
• Perform weld repairs on equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven welding experience.
• Proficiency with fabrication tasks.
• Commitment to workplace safety standards.
• Qualified welder and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Ideally coding certifications for structural welds (not essential).
• Attention to detail.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
