We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic client in Farnham who is looking to add an experienced CNC Turner (Fanuc) to their growing precision engineering team. The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls to manufacture high‑precision components to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controls
- Produce precision components to drawing tolerances and customer specifications
- Carry out first‑off and in‑process inspection using measuring equipment
- Edit programs and make tooling adjustments to optimise performance
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet delivery targets
About You
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc control systems
- Ability to programme, set and operate independently
- Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
- Confident reading technical and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude and team‑focused approach
- Experience within Aerospace, Formula 1, Defence, or other highly regulated precision engineering sectors would be highly advantageous
