Industrial Electrician

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician for a 6-8 week contract at a National Grid Substation near Durham, starting Monday 29th June.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation and testing work independently and efficiently, ensuring safety and quality.
• Interpret drawings and specifications, set out jobs accordingly, and requisition necessary installation items.
• Implement Company Quality Procedures to meet performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Approved Electrician.
• Qualified as a BESC Person or Competent Person (EUSR).
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on industrial experience, preferably in power generation or distribution.

Rates and Compensation

• Up to 50 hours: £29 per hour.
• Over 50 hours: £31 per hour.

Expenses

• Lodging allowance of £50 per night for accommodation over 50 miles from site.
