Welder Fabricator

Location: Nottingham & surrounding areas

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (occasional Saturday mornings as & when required)

Pay: £17 / £18 per hour

Overview

Multi Trades Recruitment is working on behalf of a well‑established engineering company that is seeking a skilled and reliable Fabricator / Welder to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across both workshop and site environments within the industrial and construction sectors.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding in both workshop and on‑site environments
• Carry out fabrication, installation, and repair work
• On‑site fitting and general engineering duties
• Work with a range of workshop fabrication equipment
• Complete work to required deadlines and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Work independently when required

Requirements

• Proven MIG welding experience (essential)
• Strong background in fabrication (minimum 3 years preferred)
• Experience in on‑site fitting and engineering work
• Confidence using workshop fabrication tools and machinery
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage workload effectively
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Full UK driving license (essential)
• Own transport required due to location
• Own tools required
