Pipe Welder (Workshop Based)

Pay: £18 – £19 PH + Overtime

Location: Kidderminster

Hours: Mon to Thurs 07:00 – 15:30 & Fri 07:00 – 13:15

Duration: Permanent Position

Responsibilities

• Primarily MIG welding (some TIG) on pipework
• Working mainly with mild steel (small amount of stainless)
• Pipe sizes approx. 100mm-600mm, wall thickness 3mm-20mm
• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Cutting / bending / prepping / tacking / fitting as required
• Mostly workshop-based; occasional site work (company vehicle provided and you will be accompanied)

Qualifications

• Strong pipe welding experience (MIG essential; TIG beneficial)
• Confident with fabrication prep and fitting tasks
• Able to work from drawings and produce high-quality work

Pay & Overtime

£18.00 – £19.00 (DOE)

Overtime paid after 40 hours

Time 1/3 (weekdays

Time ½ (Saturdays)

Double time after 13:00 Saturday
