We’re recruiting Service Operations Technicians to join a major mission-critical technology programme. This is an excellent opportunity to support newly deployed services, investigate live incidents, develop operational procedures, and help shape the future support model of a critical national platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live production environments and respond to incidents and alerts.
- Diagnose issues across cloud, infrastructure and networking technologies.
- Create technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge base articles.
- Support Incident, Change and Problem Management activities.
- Work with delivery teams to improve monitoring, automation and operational processes.
Key Skills
- AWS or similar cloud platform experience.
- Linux and Windows administration.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and VPN technologies.
- Experience with monitoring tools and ITIL processes.
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash or PowerShell).
- CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code or VMware experience.
- ServiceNow knowledge.
