Assembler – PCB

PCB Assembler

Location: Maidenhead

Salary: £30,056 per annum

Responsibilities

• Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) to IPC standards
• Solder components (through‑hole and surface mount) with high accuracy
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and BOMs
• Carry out visual inspection and quality checks of assembled boards
• Identify and report faults, reworking where required

Qualifications

• Previous experience in PCB assembly within electronics manufacturing
• Strong soldering skills (through‑hole and/or surface mount)
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and assembly instructions
• High attention to detail and quality‑focused mindset
• Experience working in an ESD‑controlled environment
