My client, a well-established and thriving manufacturer based in Leeds, are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their team. They supply a number of markets including Marine, Defence, Oil and Gas and Power Generation and pride themselves on only delivering the best in customer satisfaction, communication, an excellent management system and great training and development opportunities.
As a CNC Turner, you will work on various modern multi-functional CNC turret lathes with FANUC controls. You will be working on a variety of projects, so good multi-tasking skills are required.
Working unsupervised, you will set and produce components from technical drawings and samples, in addition to programming or part programming machinery.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience using FANUC interfaces to program and set various CNC lathes, including those with bar feeder and C-axis. Knowledge of Victor or Mori and Kia machines will be an advantage.
Additionally, as a CNC Setter, you must be highly self‑motivated, have proven problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently. You must also have effective interpersonal and English language communication abilities.
