Tig Welder

Job Overview

MCR are currently recruiting for experienced Stainless steel TIG welders to start August for our client in Lye, Stourbridge. The position involves working in the workshop and also on various sites around the UK.

Requirements

• Highly competent in TIG welding 304 and 316 stainless steel.
• Must have previously held recognised welding codes (current coding preferred but not essential, providing you have been coded in the past).
• Able to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Competent in TIG and MIG Welding, light fabrication and preparing pipework/fabricated components from drawings.
• Must have their own welding PPE.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport, with the ability to travel to various sites.
• Weld test will be required.
• Experience working on industrial mechanical installations, plant rooms, process pipework, process installations or similar engineering environments.

Desired Qualifications

• CSCS card – any standard.
• Weld codes.
• IPAF licence.
• FLT licence.
