Heavy Equipment Operator – Water Distribution

Job Status: Open – open and accepting applications

Salary Range: $3,209 – $4,301 Monthly

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Subject to after hour calls 365 days a year. On call is on a rotating basis estimated at once every 4 weeks including weekends and holidays.

Selection Process to Be Utilized: Qualified applicants interviewed by Water Utility Superintendent.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from high school education or GED equivalent.
• Must have a Class A CDL or have the written tests done prior to being considered for employment.
• TCEQ requires a Class C Water Distribution Certification; must obtain a Class D Water Certification within a year and a Class C within 1 year of becoming eligible.
• Must live within 5 miles of city limits of the City of Pampa.
