Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm, half day Friday
Duration: Temp to Perm

Location: Widnes (commutable from Speke, Runcorn, St Helens, Liverpool)
Job Role
As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out MIG welding and fabrication work within a busy manufacturing environment. The Fabricator Welder will work from engineering drawings and written instructions to manufacture a range of enclosures, guards and load‑bearing structures. Duties will also include operating fabrication equipment and carrying out repair work on returned products. This Fabricator Welder role offers the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Responsibilities
- MIG welding and fabrication work in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Work from engineering drawings and written instructions to manufacture enclosures, guards and load‑bearing structures.
- Operate fabrication equipment and carry out repair work on returned products.
- Support the transition to a permanent position after the temporary period.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- MIG welding experience.
- Fabrication experience working with plate, box sections and structural steel.
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding, NVQ or equivalent qualification.
- Experience using press brakes, pillar drills and manual propane cutters.
- Previous experience within a heavy fabrication environment.
