Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to work with our client who is based in Corby on an to‑perm contract.

Our client is looking for a laser cutting operative to join the team on a permanent basis. Working alongside the factory team, the potential candidate will be offered full training as required and work alongside production to produce a range of custom patterns and profiles, with a high focus on quality control.

Job Description
- Setting up and preparing machines before and after production.
- Manage and oversee the running of the assigned machine.
- Ensure that products match technical drawings and given specifications.
- Act as a team player, helping others on the factory floor where required to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Prioritise and maintain quality control, ensuring the best product finish is attained.
Ideal Candidate
- Ability to focus on detail and work to a high standard.
- Operate in an organised manner.
- Hold a forklift licence – desirable but not essential.
- Availability for weekend shifts.
- Work remotely: No.
Job Details
- Job Types: Full‑time, Permanent.
- Pay: From £#removed#.
- Schedule: 8‑hour shift; Shift Pattern, Monday‑Friday (06:00‑14:00 and 14:00‑22:00) paid 37.5 hours + 30 minute unpaid lunch.
- Overtime available – must be flexible to work weekends when required.
