Assistant Accountant (Research)

Location: University of Warwick Campus, Coventry

Department: Warwick Business School

Position Type: Permanent

Hours: 1 Full-Time (36.5 hours per week) / 0.5 Part-Time (18.25 hours per week)

Salary: £31,236 to £34,610 per annum, pro rata

About the Role

  • Assist the Management Accountant (Research) in providing dedicated support for all Warwick Business School academics with regard to the financial planning and control of all School Research Activity.
  • Assist with costing of all School research bids ensuring compliance with funder requirements and University Regulations.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and financial analysis of all research awards and liaise with academics concerning the financial position of their awards.

About You

  • Relevant, applied experience of preparing management accounting information.
  • Qualification or experience equivalent to AAT or other accountancy qualification.
  • Good understanding of computerised financial systems and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Minimum GCSE level qualifications in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
