EMEA Payroll Specialist London £40,000 – £47,000 per annum + bonus Retail
An opportunity has arisen for an EMEA Payroll Specialist, to join a global retailer. This company places emphasis on people, collaboration, and development with a great list of benefits and on‑site perks to showcase this.
This is a hybrid role with the expectations of 4 days a week in office with the ability to use an additional remote working allowance to reduce the days in office.
Details of the role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be an integral part of the payroll team, supporting with a variety of payroll duties. The team are looking for someone who is proactive where alongside their business‑as‑usual tasks, will help drive efficiencies in the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with your team of 3 to process the payroll data across 10 European regions in particular Italy and Benelux
- Ensuring payroll checks are implemented
- Ensure checks are carried out for new starters
- Overseeing statutory payments and deductions
- Managing payroll inbox and addressing queries
- Continuously looking at ways to improve the payroll process
Skills required:
- 1-3 years’ EMEA payroll experience
- Experience with time and attendance systems ideally from a retail setting
- Experience of Workday
- Softer skills required would include excellent communication skills and the ability to be proactive.
