Job Description:

Salary: Grade 7, £26,077 – £29,090 per annum.

29.6 hours per week.

Temporary until 30th July 2027.

Your role

As a Tenancy Support Officer, you will provide floating support for individuals with specific and complex housing needs that require short-, medium- or longer-term assistance to either maintain a tenancy or settle into a new one, fulfil their potential and take back control of their lives.

You will also arrange and deliver pre‑tenancy training for individuals that have never held a tenancy or have previously lost tenancies. You will be expected to maximise their understanding and knowledge of expectations surrounding managing a tenancy and promote resilience and self‑reliance. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature are key to this role.

An inspiring personality with the ability to train and motivate others. Caring, compassionate, with the ability to think creatively to resolve issues. Able to manage a varied and demanding caseload, adapt communication paths to suit your client, and work flexibly as part of a larger Housing Team.
