About the Role
We are looking for a multi‑skilled security officer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will ensure the safety and security of our customers, retailers and staff by conducting regular patrols, completing reactive and scheduled cleaning tasks, and responding to incidents on the estate. This role requires a Security and CCTV SIA Licence and a willingness to engage in cleaning and other duties.
Shift Pattern: Varied
Responsibilities
- Patrol the site to ensure safety, security and cleanliness.
- Advise and assist retailers where necessary.
- Carry out daily general cleaning of the site, including the use of cleaning machinery.
- Review CCTV footage.
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed within deadline requirements.
Health & Safety Accountabilities
- Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure a free flow of ideas and maintain morale.
- Represent the OCS safety image positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
- Maintain personal health and safety competence and skill level by attending Managing Safety programmes and other company safety events.
- Ensure that plant and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose.
Qualifications
- Front‑line security experience.
- SIA qualification for security and CCTV.
- Confidence in independent working.
