Children’s Social Worker – Children with Disabilities
Location: Herefordshire
Contract: permanent
Hours: 37 per week

Responsibilities
In this vital role, you will work directly with children and young people who have a range of additional needs, along with their families, to ensure they receive the right support at the right time. You will complete holistic assessments, plan and coordinate services, and work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes and independence.
Qualifications
- Passionate about supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Skilled in assessment, planning, and coordinating multi‑agency support, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are fully understood and met
- Committed to working collaboratively, inclusively, and creatively with children, families, and professionals from health, education, and social care
- Resilient, reflective, and confident in managing complex situations and making child‑centred decisions
- Able to work effectively within a supportive and specialist team environment, contributing to a culture of learning and continuous improvement
- Registered with Social Work England and hold a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)

- Salary: £36,363–£40,777 per annum (plus £5,000 market rate supplement)
