St Stephen’s Church of England Primary School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Attendance & Admin Officer to join our welcoming and ambitious team. This is a rewarding role for a skilled professional who combines excellent administrative and organisational skills with a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse attendance data to identify trends and implement improvement strategies.
  • Coordinate the school’s attendance procedures and support vulnerable pupils.
  • Assist with admissions processes and liaise with school leaders, staff, families and external agencies.
  • Provide a professional, efficient and welcoming service to the school community.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience of administrative work and managing office systems.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, communicating confidently and professionally with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with data to identify trends and take appropriate action.
  • Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and high standards for all children.
  • Motivation to make a difference for vulnerable children and families.
