Admin Assistant
Hours: Tuesday-Thursday, 08:30-16:30 (3 days per week)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an organised and proactive Admin Assistant to support their International Trade team. This is a varied role combining administration, customer service, communications, and marketing support. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of services to businesses across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the International Trade team.
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
- Assist with filing, document preparation and data entry.
- Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Training Administration
- Assist with the administration of International Trade training courses.
- Process bookings and registrations.
- Prepare training materials and attendee information.
- Liaise with delegates regarding course details and joining instructions.
- Maintain training records and feedback documentation.
Customer Service
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
- Respond to general email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to businesses and stakeholders.
Communications
- Send follow‑up emails to prospective customers and existing clients.
- Issue reminder emails for training courses, events and other International Trade services.
- Assist in maintaining accurate contact information within CRM systems.
Marketing Support
- Create engaging marketing content for newsletters, website updates and promotional campaigns.
- Develop and schedule social media posts to promote International Trade services, training and events.
Office Support
- Manage outgoing post and courier arrangements.
- Assist with general office administration.
- Support the team with additional projects and administrative duties as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Confident using computers and office systems.
- Strong in customer service and communication.
- Proactive and able to manage a varied workload.
- Experience in marketing, content creation, or prospecting would be an advantage.
