Social Worker – Safeguarding Unborn Babies & Family Support

Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council is seeking a Social Worker to manage a caseload of 10-15 families, focusing on safeguarding needs during pregnancy. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessment, care planning, and managing complex cases, including Court work.

A degree in Social Work (or equivalent) is essential, along with strong communication and IT skills. The role entails significant collaboration with Midwifery and multi-agency partners, ensuring the safety and protection of vulnerable individuals.

This position is temporary until 30/08/2027 with a market supplement of £5,000 starting from April 2026.
