Digital Services and Reprographics Officer (Temporary)

  • Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term
  • Hours of Work: 36.5 (Term time only)
  • Grade 2 Full‑Time Equivalent Salary: £24,796 – £26,824
  • Pro Rata (Actual Salary Range): £21,775 – £23,556
  • Required for September 2026
  • NOR 1185 Including 186 in Sixth Form

Overview

The Digital Services and Reprographics Officer will oversee the student netbook scheme, coordinate the school’s reprographics provision, and support the IT team. Working closely with teaching staff, support teams, students and external suppliers, the role ensures that digital resources and communication systems effectively support teaching, learning and the wider operation of the school.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key operational technology services within the school.
  • Contribute to the school’s digital strategy and promote effective use of technology.
  • Ensure all services operate efficiently, securely and in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Support the IT team and provide technical assistance to staff and students.
  • Coordinate the provision of reprographics services and maintain related equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Relevant experience in school or educational IT environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital learning platforms, netbook management and reprographics workflows.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students and external suppliers.
  • Evidence of commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children, and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Fluent spoken and written English skills.
  • Knowledge of enhanced DBS and relevant safeguarding checks is preferable.
