PhD in Solid-State Sulfur Redox Catalysis for Batteries

The University of Nottingham is looking for an enthusiastic PhD student for a project on electrocatalysis of sulfur redox in lithium-sulfur batteries. You will work in the Nottingham Applied Materials and Interfaces Group.

This role, starting in October 2026, requires a minimum 2:1 Honours degree in chemistry, materials science, or related fields. It provides valuable research training and the opportunity to work on advanced energy systems.
