The Guildhall, a landmark nestled beside the Abbey, is buzzing with activity – from glittering weddings and lively festivals to high-profile conferences and concerts. And we’re looking for a Building Service Officer to make it all run like clockwork.

About The Role

This is a casual role with flexible hours perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up rooms and venues for events of all shapes and sizes
  • Welcoming guests and providing front‑of‑house support
  • Keeping the building spotless and stocked from washrooms to public spaces
  • Ensuring safety and security through regular patrols and porterage duties

About You

You’re confident, well‑presented, and a natural communicator. You’re comfortable handling physical tasks (don’t worry, we’ll train you!) and you’ve got solid IT skills. Bonus points if you know your way around a P.A. system.
