Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join Wolverhampton’s – Children with Disabilities (CWD) team.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will be,

  • Undertaking Single Assessments
  • Worked creatively to craft packages of support that meet the needs of the child and their family in partnership considering wider family, community resources and local authority services
  • Undertaking regular review via Children In Need reviews, Looked after Child Reviews
  • Allocating caseload and duty system
  • Undertaking Single Assessments applying the assessment triangle and any such matrices that indicate levels of support applied by individual local authorities
  • Working creatively to craft packages of support that meet the needs of the child and their family in partnership considering wider family, community resources and local authority services, funding or Direct Payments
  • Undertaking regular review via Children In Need reviews, Looked after Child Reviews (Pathway Planning post 16) or Core Groups if in the Child Protection arena
  • Supporting Newly Qualified Social Workers with the complexity of their cases

Qualifications and Experience

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK license.
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
