Overview

We are recruiting a Community Engagement Lead to join Lancashire Mind. This role is focused on leading the Community Engagement Team, overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects, and ensuring the voices of local communities and people with lived experience influence the work we do.

  • Location: Based in Leyland, Lancashire with activities across the county. Hybrid and flexible working options available.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll provide leadership and oversight to Lancashire Mind’s Community Engagement Team, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, achieve meaningful outcomes and continue to meet the needs of the communities we serve. You’ll lead and support a team of staff, oversee performance and impact, and work closely with a wide range of partners, funders, community organisations and stakeholders.

A key part of the role is ensuring that lived experience and community voice are embedded throughout our work. You’ll support meaningful participation and coproduction opportunities, helping to ensure people have genuine influence over the services and projects that affect them.
