Staffordshire has a strong commitment to providing quality foster placements for our children and young people in our care. We are also committed to ongoing development and innovation. The Fostering North Team provides supervision and support to foster carers predominantly residing in the North of Staffordshire with some out of county commitments for approved Kinship Carers. The team benefit from experienced staff with a wealth of social work knowledge and skills. This is a new 12 month fixed term contract to support the team due to increased numbers of foster carers. The 12 month contact will commence from the first day of employment. Please note that there is currently an ongoing review within Children and Families to realign individual teams and the wider team’s ways of working.
