Role
Bereavement Services Support Officer – support the Senior Bereavement Services Team Leader to provide frontline administrative support for bereavement services, including Worthing Crematorium, Adur & Worthing Cemeteries and closed churchyards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective frontline administrative support for bereavement services.
- Assist with scheduling, documentation and customer care for bereavement stakeholders.
- Work closely with team leader to ensure high standard of service.
- Support client communications and problem solving.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting for bereavement activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in bereavement or related support welcomed.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem solving and adaptable approach to work.
- High standard of customer care and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
