Architectural Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for an Architectural Technician to join us at our East Midlands office based in Hinckley.

Responsibilities

• Production of relevant plans and documents in support of planning submissions.
• Managing projects on site.
• Handling queries when they arise.
• Liaising with planners on planning related matters as and when required.
• Preparation and submission of major planning applications in line with the Region’s budget.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in a Design and Technical Department in a residential background or new build house‑builder.
• Minimum HNC in construction or related subject.
• Computer / IT literacy with capability to use Excel, Word and database packages.
• Ability to use AutoCAD.
• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 4 or above including maths and English.
