Junior IT Technician

Salary: £24,500 – 25,000 per year

Requirements

• Ideally hold a relevant IT or similar qualification.
• Have a genuine interest in IT through hobbies, home projects, or self-learning.
• Have any proven experience in an IT support role supporting on‑site users would be highly advantageous.
• Be local to Market Bosworth, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Leicester, Coalville, or surrounding areas.
• Be responsive, conscientious, and highly organised.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to support non‑technical users in a friendly and professional way.
• Be looking for a long‑term career in IT support rather than a short‑term stepping stone role.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day IT support to internal users, including hardware, software, system, and user issues.
• Diagnose and resolve basic IT faults, escalating more complex problems where necessary.
• Support the setup, maintenance, and replacement of IT equipment across the business.
• Help maintain records, documentation, and basic system procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure smooth and reliable IT operations.
