We are looking for an MIS Data Reporting Assistant to join our Management Information Systems team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and wants to play a key role in supporting decision‑making across the College. Working closely with the Head of IT & MIS and colleagues across a range of departments, you will help ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and compliant, while supporting the production of reports and analysis that drive performance and continuous improvement.
The role combines elements of traditional MIS administration with a stronger focus on data quality, reporting, and analysis. You will be responsible for maintaining learner and curriculum data, identifying and resolving data anomalies, supporting funding and audit requirements, and producing meaningful management information for colleagues and senior leaders. You will also contribute to the development of reporting processes and help transform data into valuable insight that supports both operational and strategic objectives.

Key Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and confidence working with large volumes of data. Advanced Excel and SQL skills are essential. Experience with education management information systems, Reporting Services, Power BI, or similar reporting tools is advantageous. Most importantly, you should enjoy problem‑solving, take pride in producing accurate work, and be able to communicate information clearly to a range of audiences.
Salary
Salary for the post will be on the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Scale – Pay Spine Point NJC 8 to NJC 10, currently £26,343 to £27,733 FTE.
