IT Assistant
39 hours, 5 days per week.
We’re looking for an IT Assistant to join our IT team.
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is London’s iconic luxury hotel and part of the global Mandarin Oriental Group.
Responsibilities
- Provide hotel guests and colleagues with first line support.
- Assemble and configure networks and services.
- Establish network users, directors and security.
- Perform network troubleshooting.
- Install, configure and maintain computer hardware and software.
As an IT Assistant you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
Qualifications
- Strong communication: ability to explain tech issues to non‑technical colleagues and guests.
- Patience and guest service mindset (the agility to provide quick fixes).
- Flexibility: availability for shifts or emergency calls may be required.
- Teamwork: work closely with operational and back office departments.
- Good technical skills: hardware & software support, networking and connectivity, cybersecurity and data protection, and hotel systems knowledge.
